As a Technical SEO Specialist, you will bridge the gap between creative content and technical execution, ensuring our web infrastructure supports our aggressive growth targets. You will work closely with developers, content strategists, and data analysts to optimize site architecture and improve crawlability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting site performance and rankings.
- Optimize site architecture, URL structures, and internal linking strategies to enhance crawlability and indexation.
- Implement and manage schema markup (JSON-LD) to improve search visibility for rich snippets.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve Core Web Vitals and page load speeds.
- Monitor search console data and perform deep-dive analysis to identify opportunities for technical improvement.
- Develop and maintain an XML sitemap strategy and handle canonicalization rules.
- Stay updated on Google algorithm updates and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical SEO, including experience in the enterprise or high-growth startup space.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side technologies (Python/PHP preferred).
- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and SEO auditing tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
- Experience with site speed optimization techniques and performance monitoring.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
