Role Overview
You will be the face of our technical operations, managing the lifecycle of equipment from dispatch to final deployment. You will ensure our clients receive zero-downtime service while we handle the heavy lifting of logistics.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the secure packing, transport, and installation of complex IT hardware (servers, networking gear, workstations).
- Perform rigorous pre- and post-relocation diagnostics to ensure equipment functionality.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics partners and internal teams to schedule complex travel routes.
- Manage inventory of provided company equipment and report discrepancies immediately.
- Document all relocation activities and technical configurations using our proprietary CRM.
- Provide on-site technical support and training to client IT personnel during the setup phase.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT hardware installation, field service, or technical logistics.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and server hardware (Cisco, Dell, HP).
- Proven ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in diverse environments.
- Willingness to travel frequently for relocation projects.
