Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycles from conception to delivery for critical IT infrastructure projects.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and external vendors, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and scope creep proactively.
- Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders to provide status updates and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in technical project management within the government or IT sector.
- Proven expertise in Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and IT infrastructure standards.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Washington, DC.
