Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) to support the massive traffic demands of the 2026 event.
- Lead the migration and integration of legacy systems to modern, high-availability platforms ensuring zero downtime.
- Define comprehensive security protocols and disaster recovery strategies for high-value data assets and global networks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional vendors and stakeholders to ensure technical milestones are met on time and under budget.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues during peak traffic periods and live events.
- Develop technical documentation and best practices for future large-scale sporting events.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Systems Architecture, DevOps, or IT Engineering.
- Expert proficiency in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with specific experience in enterprise-scale deployments.
- Strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Experience managing infrastructure for large-scale public events, high-traffic websites, or media broadcasts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- CISSP, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
