Responsibilities
- Lead development of scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Design and implement secure RESTful APIs for payment processing
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL, Redis) and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product team to translate requirements into technical specs
- Implement unit/integration tests with JUnit and Mockito
- Drive cloud infrastructure decisions on AWS (EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java/Spring Boot development
- Expertise in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and DevOps practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade applications
- Familiarity with payment processing systems (Stripe, Braintree)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
