Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance software solutions using modern frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and engineers to define features and technical specifications.
- Mentor junior developers, conducting code reviews, and ensuring code quality and best practices.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring 99.9% uptime and minimal latency.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to post-launch support.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions to business challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and RESTful APIs.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days in Oakland office) and ability to obtain required visa sponsorship (H1B, O-1, etc.) if applicable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
