Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, Python).
- Lead architectural decisions and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and high code quality.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and system infrastructure to handle high load.
- Mentor junior developers and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Identify technical risks and implement strategies to mitigate them in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on full-stack or backend technologies.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web development frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Willingness and eligibility to relocate to Virginia Beach, VA.
