Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high-performance microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS
- Lead agile sprints, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers
- Optimize database performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with SOC 2 standards
- Research and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, GraphQL)
- Document technical specifications and maintain API documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, and cloud-native development
- Proven experience with AWS, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience with Jira and Confluence
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design expertise
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- BS/MS in Computer Science preferred
