Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.99% uptime SLA
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Mentor 3-4 junior engineers through pair programming and architecture workshops
- Implement security-first DevOps practices including IaC with Terraform and AWS WAF
- Contribute to open-source projects and publish technical insights via engineering blog
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise-grade Java development with Spring Boot
- Expertise in cloud-native AWS services (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB) and Kubernetes
- Proven track record of architecting RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
- Strong background in SQL/NoSQL databases with performance optimization
- CI/CD mastery including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Agile/Scrum certification or equivalent practical experience
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
