Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead API development and integration with third-party financial systems
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain quality standards
- Collaborate with global product teams to deliver features across 15+ markets
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to technical roadmaps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills through complex technical challenges
- Eligibility to work in the US (visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates)
- Preferred: FinTech experience or international team collaboration
