Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead API development and integration with third-party financial systems
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize database performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging across the full stack
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Java preferred)
- Expertise in RESTful API design and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching strategies
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from conception to deployment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with fintech compliance standards (PCI-DSS, SOX)
