Responsibilities
- Lead development of cloud-native microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Jenkins
- Optimize system performance to handle 1M+ daily transactions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Drive DevOps best practices including infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3)
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Proven track record of mentoring development teams
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
