Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS/GCP
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Lead end-to-end development of microservices architecture
- Optimize system performance and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Kansas City and Texas
- Drive DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline improvements
- Contribute to open-source projects and tech community initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with cloud platforms
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language (Python/Java/Go)
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record in leading technical projects from concept to deployment
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
