Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using AWS and Kubernetes
- Lead technical architecture decisions for high-impact federal projects
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical solutions
- Optimize system performance and security protocols
- Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with Python and JavaScript
- Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Proven experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Ability to relocate to Washington, DC immediately
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with federal compliance standards (FISMA, FedRAMP)
