Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud-native applications using AWS/GCP services
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead agile ceremonies while maintaining technical documentation
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Conduct security audits and implement DevSecOps best practices
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in distributed systems development
- Proficiency in Python/Java with Go or Rust preferred
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and serverless architectures
- AWS/GCP certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Proven track record of leading 5+ person engineering teams
- Experience with financial services or healthcare compliance (HIPAA/GDPR)
- Strong background in microservices design and event-driven patterns
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
