Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins and Docker
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architecture sessions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct performance tuning and scalability improvements for high-traffic applications
- Implement security best practices and compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR)
- Contribute to open-source projects and present technical findings at company symposiums
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java development with Spring Boot framework
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of architecting scalable distributed systems
- Strong background in RESTful API design and microservices integration
- Experience with performance optimization and database tuning (SQL/NoSQL)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
