Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using AWS/GCP and Kubernetes
- Lead API development for IoT tracking systems serving 500+ clients
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize database performance for high-volume maritime data processing
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with maritime industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Python/Java/Go
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Experience with maritime or logistics systems preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
