Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and drive technical excellence across the engineering organization
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architectural planning sessions
- Optimize system performance and security for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent the company at tech conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or similar compiled languages
- Expertise in distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and container orchestration
- Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams and improving developer workflows
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, PyTest) and TDD/BDD methodologies
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira/Confluence toolsets
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
