Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications using Java, Python, and AWS services
- Lead technical initiatives from conception through deployment, ensuring robust architecture and best practices
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing sessions
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed environments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to accelerate delivery cycles
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to innovation labs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java and Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and microservices architecture
- Proven track record of leading full-lifecycle development of production systems
