Job Description
Are you ready to architect the bridge between classical silicon and the quantum era? Nebula Dynamics is seeking a visionary Senior Quantum Interface Engineer to lead the user experience for next-generation computing systems.
In this pivotal role, you will design and build the frontend and backend architectures that allow humans to interact with qubits. As we approach the commercialization of quantum supremacy in 2026, your work will define how developers, scientists, and enterprises access the power of quantum computing.
Why Join Us?
We are building the operating system of the future. Our team is a diverse collective of physicists, cryptographers, and engineers working at the intersection of Moore’s Law and Schrödinger’s equation. You will have the autonomy to define the standards for quantum UI/UX and work with state-of-the-art hardware.
Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum Dashboards: Design high-performance, responsive user interfaces for quantum cloud platforms, visualizing complex qubit states and circuit simulations in real-time.
- Bridge Classical & Quantum: Develop hybrid APIs that seamlessly integrate classical JavaScript/Python environments with quantum processing units (QPUs) using Qiskit and Cirq.
- Optimize Latency: Engineer low-latency communication protocols to handle high-throughput data streams between classical servers and quantum hardware.
- User Education Tools: Create interactive tutorials and sandbox environments that lower the barrier to entry for quantum algorithm development.
- System Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure that UI feedback loops are responsive to the physical constraints of quantum devices.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Lead code reviews for frontend teams, ensuring best practices for scalability, accessibility, and performance in a browser-based quantum environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on frontend development (React, Vue, or Angular) or systems programming (C++, Rust).
- Quantum Literacy: Demonstrated experience working with quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Amazon Braket.
- Mathematical Proficiency: Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics fundamentals.
- Performance: Proven track record of optimizing applications for high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
- Communication: Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
