Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across 3 key departments: Logistics, Quality Control, and Inventory Management
- Develop and implement strategic process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals, fostering accountability and innovation
- Analyze KPIs to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous operational excellence
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize costs
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and industry regulations
- Collaborate with executive team on annual operational budgets and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in operations management with 3+ in leadership roles
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and data analytics tools
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and P&L oversight
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with track record of reducing operational costs by 15%+
- Texas-based candidates with knowledge of DFW logistics networks preferred
