Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events on the Night Shift using SIEM tools (Splunk, LogRhythm).
- Perform real-time analysis of network traffic and endpoint behavior to detect threats.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents according to NIST incident response procedures.
- Conduct vulnerability scans and patch management during low-traffic periods.
- Document all incident responses and maintain detailed security logs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen the organization's security posture.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC, NOC, or IT Helpdesk role.
- Proven experience working Night Shift or rotating shifts.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, networking, and operating systems.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms.
- Certifications such as Security+, Network+, CEH, or CISSP are a plus.
