Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain complex network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and VPN solutions.
- Manage and troubleshoot enterprise-level firewalls, routers, and switches (Cisco/Juniper).
- Oversee network security protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and data protection laws.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical system outages and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to integrate cloud services (AWS/Azure) into the on-premise environment.
- Conduct regular network assessments, capacity planning, and audits to optimize performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Network Engineering, Systems Administration, or IT Infrastructure.
- Certification such as CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIP is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching technologies.
- Familiarity with scripting (Python or Bash) for automation is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance (if applicable to the role).
