Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end logistics planning for heavy equipment transportation and distribution.
- Manage fleet operations, ensuring all vehicles and provided equipment are maintained, inspected, and ready for deployment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain workflows and reduce transit times.
- Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and federal safety regulations (OSHA, DOT, FMCSA).
- Lead a team of logistics specialists and provide mentorship on best practices for handling specialized cargo.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement cost-saving efficiency measures.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Hands-on experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or industrial equipment handling.
- Strong proficiency in logistics software, GPS tracking systems, and inventory management tools.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
