Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure including cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), virtualization, and network systems
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments across multi-site environments
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives for 24/7 critical operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and reduce operational costs
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff on best practices
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee hardware/software procurement lifecycle
- Document system architecture and create comprehensive technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT systems administration with enterprise environments
- Expert proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Certifications required: CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting (Python, PowerShell)
