Responsibilities
- Manage & Optimize IT Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network architecture and server environments to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Cybersecurity Implementation: Execute security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to incidents to protect company data and client assets.
- Cloud Migration: Lead initiatives to migrate legacy systems to Azure and AWS, ensuring seamless transition and scalability.
- Tier 2+ Technical Support: Serve as a technical escalation point for junior staff, providing advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors to negotiate contracts and manage service level agreements (SLAs).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including network diagrams and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration, network engineering, or a similar role.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Azure/AWS certification is highly preferred.
- Visa Eligibility: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and eligible for Visa Sponsorship.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, VPNs, and endpoint protection tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
