Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to map technological trends and disruptions through 2026
- Develop and implement scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proof strategies into development roadmaps
- Deliver executive-level presentations on technological evolution and competitive positioning
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype 2026-viable solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on future tech trajectories
- Manage relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, R&D, or technology innovation leadership
- Proven track record of successfully forecasting and implementing future-tech initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with patent strategy and intellectual property portfolio development
- Published author or speaker at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
