Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential for 2026+
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board members
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation roadmaps with future market projections
- Design scenario-planning models to quantify risks and opportunities in next-generation markets
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, keynote presentations, and industry panels
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Maintain a dynamic ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into enterprise-level strategy
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
