Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology foresight frameworks through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and innovation gaps
- Design strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders and translate insights into executable business plans
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory developments impacting 2026 innovation landscapes
- Establish KPIs to measure strategic foresight effectiveness and innovation pipeline health
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech leadership roles
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps for 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AR/VR
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting to executive teams and technical audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR, APF) required
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and innovation frameworks
