Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Analyze exponential technology trends (AI, quantum, neurotech) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Design innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 partners in healthcare, energy, and manufacturing sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product development priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for early-stage ventures aligned with 2026 vision
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry standards for strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of implementing future-back strategies in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Published author in foresight journals or prominent industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., SAMI, Scilynx) and data visualization platforms
