Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotechnology, quantum computing, and socio-economic shifts relevant to 2026
- Develop multi-scenario strategic frameworks for organizational resilience and competitive advantage
- Translate foresight research into executable roadmaps for product development and market entry
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder presentations on future implications and strategic pivots
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on 2026 technology adoption curves
- Integrate ethical foresight principles into all strategic planning processes
- Mentor junior futurists and cross-functional teams in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/SCF, CFIP) strongly preferred
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through transformational change initiatives
