Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 scenario forecasts across technology, economic, and social domains
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable strategic initiatives
- Produce high-impact trend reports and horizon scanning analyses for executive leadership
- Design and implement foresight methodologies including Delphi studies and trend impact analysis
- Collaborate with R&D teams to identify disruptive opportunities for product development
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Maintain a dynamic trend database and early warning system for emerging disruptions
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in strategic foresight or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic planning preferred
- Experience with foresight software tools (e.g., Foresight Platform, Trendalyzer)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar) strongly preferred
