Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate resilience, biotech, etc.) to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for enterprise risk mitigation and opportunity identification
- Lead cross-functional workshops translating foresight into product innovation and investment priorities
- Author strategic whitepapers and executive briefings influencing C-suite decisions
- Build and maintain a proprietary foresight database using AI-augmented research tools
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at industry conferences and futurist forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Strategic Planning, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or innovation roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario modeling, trend analysis, and systems mapping
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
- Proficiency in foresight software (e.g., Scenariio, Foresight Platform) and data visualization
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
