Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to create 5-year strategic scenarios
- Develop and maintain Horizon Dynamics' proprietary foresight methodology and trend intelligence systems
- Present quarterly trend briefings to executive leadership and board members
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for product development and market entry strategies
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry conferences
- Collaborate with R&D teams to identify breakthrough innovation opportunities
- Monitor geopolitical and economic indicators to assess systemic risks and opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex insights into actionable strategies
- Published thought leadership in futures or technology journals
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and boards of directors
