Responsibilities
- Analyze technological, social, and economic megatrends to forecast industry disruptions through 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and data modeling
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership and product development teams
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and trend reports that inform corporate strategy
- Collaborate with R&D teams to identify breakthrough innovation opportunities
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior analysts and build a robust futurism research ecosystem
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven experience with horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning tools
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, Web3)
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or University of Houston)
- Portfolio demonstrating trend-forecasting accuracy for 2020-2025
