Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts affecting 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for C-suite decision-making and long-term planning
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces published in industry journals and global forums
- Facilitate scenario planning workshops with Fortune 500 partners and government agencies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Quantify future risks/opportunities using predictive modeling and data analytics
- Advise product development teams on future-proofing innovation roadmaps
- Represent the company at international conferences on future studies and technology ethics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Published portfolio of future-oriented research and scenario planning projects
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate complex future trends into executable business strategies
- Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, etc.) and scenario modeling
- Passion for ethical implications of technological advancement and human augmentation
