Responsibilities
- Develop and lead 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for AI, biotech, and climate tech convergence
- Produce trend reports and scenario-planning models for C-suite executives
- Design innovation sprints with cross-disciplinary teams (AI/ML, Bioengineering, UX)
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness metrics and track industry disruption vectors
- Present future-state blueprints to investor boards and tech councils
- Lead Horizon Scanning initiatives identifying paradigm-shifting technologies
- Mentor junior futurists in systemic thinking and pattern recognition
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published work on exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven experience developing 2025+ strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500
- Mastery of scenario planning tools (STEEP, Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Track record of scaling innovation labs from concept to market
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., APF, WFS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and future-state prototypes
