Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for clients across AI, biotech, and sustainable energy sectors
- Produce high-impact scenario planning reports and trend briefings for executive stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future possibilities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer future-forward research
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through keynotes and publications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-ready business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures research or innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and strategic foresight tools
