Our team operates at the intersection of research and commercialization, partnering with NASA, DARPA, and global Fortune 500 companies. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives in our state-of-the-art San Francisco hub, where we prototype solutions for climate resilience, AI ethics, and space commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging sectors
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives
- Identify disruptive market opportunities through patent analysis and trend forecasting
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolios with ROI-driven KPIs
- Present strategic recommendations at global forums (Web Summit, CES)
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary Foresight Framework
- Collaborate with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich research partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Proficiency in foresight tools: Delphi Method, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis
- Clearances for government collaboration projects preferred
- Fluency in English with technical Mandarin/Japanese a plus
