Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop innovation roadmaps and strategic frameworks for next-generation product development
- Partner with C-suite executives to align organizational strategy with future market opportunities
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs prototyping solutions for climate resilience, AI ethics, and quantum computing
- Present strategic foresight findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and scenario planning
- Manage a portfolio of moonshot projects with $5M+ annual innovation budgets
- Curate thought leadership content and represent the company at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or R&D leadership with proven futurist methodology
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with PhD preferred
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI ethics, climate tech, or biotech
- Strong track record of developing and implementing innovation frameworks in corporate settings
- Deep understanding of global megatrends and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Experience with scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning techniques
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight work with measurable impact on organizational strategy
