Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and socio-cultural trends to create actionable 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks
- Develop and lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping next-gen solutions in quantum AI, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Present visionary roadmaps to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments and ROI projections
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and industry pioneers to accelerate R&D pipelines
- Lead scenario planning workshops preparing the organization for disruptive black swan events and market inflection points
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight culture through knowledge-sharing platforms and thought leadership initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology consulting with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or market-disruptive strategies
- Deep expertise in at least three exponential technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic AI
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems and second-order effects
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field; PhD or MBA preferred
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers on 2020s technological trajectories
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi, Causal Layered Analysis)
