Based in our San Francisco hub, you'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, neurotech pioneers, and climate scientists to build actionable foresight frameworks. This role combines deep analytical rigor with creative storytelling to shape organizational resilience in an era of exponential change.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, climate adaptation, biotech convergence) to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight
- Design and lead scenario-planning workshops for Fortune 500 executives
- Produce trend reports and innovation roadmaps using proprietary foresight methodologies
- Partner with R&D teams to identify emerging technologies with commercial viability
- Present future-focused insights at global industry conferences and executive summits
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon-scanning techniques and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning
- Proven track record of publishing foresight reports or thought leadership
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or published research
