Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and geopolitical trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and sustainable innovation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development cycles
- Author whitepapers and present foresight frameworks to investors and industry leaders
- Identify disruptive threats and opportunities through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-oriented culture across departments
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and establish strategic partnerships
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation
- Experience with foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations
