Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework, analyzing disruptive trends across AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital economies
- Produce high-impact scenario planning reports and horizon-scanning briefings for executive leadership
- Lead innovation workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams to translate foresight into tangible initiatives
- Establish quantitative and qualitative forecasting models to assess probability and impact of emerging developments
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and build strategic partnerships with academic institutions
- Mentor junior futurists and curate an internal foresight knowledge ecosystem
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D with proven 5+ year horizon planning
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI trajectories)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with portfolio demonstrating complex future concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications or peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with foresight software (e.g., Foresight Platform, Scythe) and data visualization tools
