Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology foresight roadmap for 2026+ initiatives
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging tech trends and disruptive innovations
- Design strategic frameworks for integrating emerging technologies into core business
- Present executive-level briefings on future tech implications and opportunities
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Build and manage an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and patent disclosures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven foresight methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams
