Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters during off-hours operations.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab to ensure rapid, reliable software releases.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics, troubleshooting critical incidents with a focus on stability.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and scaling operations using Python and Bash scripting.
- Collaborate with the 24/7 on-call team to ensure seamless coverage and incident resolution.
- Conduct security audits and compliance checks to protect sensitive data.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Administration roles.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, Python, and Bash scripting.
- Expert knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM or 11 PM - 7 AM).
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
