Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS/GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Monitor system performance with Prometheus/Grafana and implement proactive alerting
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud costs and security posture
- Lead incident response and troubleshooting for production environments
- Document infrastructure and create runbooks for operational procedures
- Mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (7+ years)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Datadog, ELK Stack)
- Certifications (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
