Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Inspect and maintain truck/trailer systems for DOT compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient scheduling and route optimization
- Document delivery logs, vehicle inspections, and incident reports
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and HOS regulations
- Mentor new drivers on company procedures and best practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass DOT physical examination
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with electronic logging devices
- Flexibility for overnight travel and variable schedules
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred
- Excellent time management and communication skills
