Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure AWS cloud solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
- Optimize cloud costs while ensuring 99.99% uptime and compliance with UK GDPR regulations
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Present architectural roadmaps to executive stakeholders and technical teams
- Mentor junior architects through peer reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in cloud architecture with 5+ years specializing in AWS
- Professional certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Strong background in microservices architecture and container orchestration
- Proven track record of leading successful cloud migrations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to document complex systems
