Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable AWS/GCP/Azure architectures using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance while maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native environments using DevOps best practices
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar automation tools
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure with advanced logging/metrics tools (Datadog, ELK Stack)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews for infrastructure code
- Collaborate with product teams to align technical solutions with business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5+ years in cloud infrastructure
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC) and at least one other major cloud platform
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash with proven experience in automation
- Deep knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS) and serverless architectures
- Certified Cloud Professional (AWS/GCP/Azure) or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Experience with infrastructure security (IAM, security groups, network policies)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance at enterprise scale
